Ultra Filtration Plant

Ultra Filtration Plant

Ultrafiltration (UF) is a variety of membrane filtration in which hydrostatic pressure forces a liquid against a semi permeable membrane. Suspended solids and solutes of high molecular weight are retained, while water and low molecular weight solutes pass through the membrane. Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane technique used to remove the dissolved and colloidal material in low transmembrane pressure. Dissolved metal ions as low-molecular weights or hydrated ions could easily transmit UF membranes, because their membranes have pores that are greater than dissolved metal ions.

UF Plant or Ultra Filtration plants are always considered a unique part of water filtration as the name suggests they are ultra. This Ultra filtration equipment ensures the optimum filtration from different types of microorganisms which are usually found in the water and to make it safe and pure for consumption.

Almost every packaged drinking water is carried out with this Ultra Filtration process before packaging to ensure double check on the purity and surety of the product. This is mainly done with the Ultrafiltration Membrane which is a very low-pressure membrane that is designed to remove the turbidity-causing entities from the water such as colloidal material, several bacteria, viruses and pathogens, proteins, and suspended solids.
